things i will miss about columbia. part 1.

These are in NO particular order, fyi.  And this list is definitely not complete.

1.  walking to play at Grandad’s house.

2.  the zoo (lights before christmas, boo at the zoo).

3.  pig pickin’s with 100 friends.

4.  Publick House wings.

5.  dreaming up crazy schemes with jessica.

6.  running with allison.

7.  getting my tail kicked by elise at KORE Wellness.

8.  neighborhood parties, play dates and drives of any sort (food, book, clothing, etc.).

9.  taking photographs of beautiful people at the State House and Governor’s Mansion grounds.

10.  play dates with sweet cousins.

11.  climbing with will at stronghold.

12.  kayaking the saluda river.

13.  playtime at the “green park.”

14.  afternoons on barstools at jeannie’s chatting away (sometimes with a good beer), while 6 kids run circles around us.

15.  eric’s san jose.

16.  mr. browder’s kindergarten class.

17.  ms. johnson’s 2nd grade class.

18.  st. martin’s-in-the-fields drop-in nursery AKA mother’s day out.

19.  friday nights with precious friends.

20.  lunchdates with leslee at Takosushi.

21. Shandon walks with sarah.

    columbia is going to miss lorien owens! seriously, it won’t be the same without you 🙂 let’s just make a pact that you’ll be back for tacky t-shirt every year. yes ma’am.

    and either it’s late and my eyes are twitchy, or it’s snowing on your blog. am I losing it?
